Prior to embarking on her photography career, Jasvic played an active role in initiating and organizing environmental events for youths. Her dedication towards conservation and environmental sustainability won her the HSBC/NYAA Youth Environment Awards in 2009. She went on to study at Ngee Ann Polytechnic and graduated as a Silver Medalist with a Diploma in Horticulture and Landscape Management.

In 2018, Jasvic completed her studies at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and was awarded a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography and Digital Imaging (Honors). During her time as an undergraduate, Jasvic participated in various exhibitions and gained recognition for her work.

The combination of her background in the arts and sciences has been the key driving factor in her approach and attitude as a creative. Her works are greatly influenced by her experiences with nature and she hopes that her images will one day serve to educate and inspire others. Besides documenting the natural world, Jasvic continues to explore photography as a medium of self-expression and story-telling.
